The Study and Stay™—Nova Scotia Entrepreneurship Program, in partnership with the Arthur L. Irving Entrepreneurship Centre and TD Entrepreneurship Inclusion Initiative, supports student entrepreneurs in Nova Scotia through networking, skill development and resource sharing, to further the success of our student entrepreneurs and the province’s growing economy.
Program participants are provided the opportunity with a transformational business learning experience while offering the opportunity to focus on developing their entrepreneurial aspirations with support and resources to help them succeed.

Eligibility
- Applicant must be a domestic or international student currently studying at a Nova Scotian post-secondary institution.
- Participants are required to have good attendance during the Summer Entrepreneurial Experience program and must be international students to be eligible to give a pitch during our main in-person competition scheduled for August 1st at Arthur L. Irving Entrepreneurship Centre to be considered for funding prize money
- While there is no set GPA (Grade Point Average) requirement, students are expected to be in good academic standing and to have contributed to their academic and social communities.
Grant/Funding
Students will have an opportunity to pitch at the end of the program with $25,000 to be awarded in total to students as they build their ventures.
Note: The program cannot provide you with any work authorization for running your own business, please confirm your eligibility with your Registered International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs) in your campus or institution. You should also be sure that you can accept the grant based on your permit. It is your responsibility to determine if your study visa allows you to participate in the program, please check before applying.
